About JEANNETTE
As a small child, I slept mainly with my head tucked under the covers. It was my way of putting up a do not disturb sign for unwelcomed guests. As one of four children, I couldn't understand why I was the only one seeing and hearing these things. So, I kept all my strange happenings to myself, except for my sleepwalking, where I would sit in front of the TV, watching with my eyes closed. My older brothers couldn't get enough; I provided a wealth of material for their teasing.
As I got older, it became known to me that my grandfather was a medium, and every Friday night, my dad's part of the family would hold seances. However, my catholic mother was opposed to exposing such things to the children. I understand where she was coming from, but what a difference it would have made to have someone to talk to about all those occurrences. Eventually, I could speak to the family about spirits; today, I hold seances' with those that remain, and the new generation. Interestingly, there is a theory that mediumship could be an inherited trait, which would explain why many of us share this ability.
As for my area of work in this world, my academic background is in psychology, which lends a strong hand in processing what we encounter through your journey in the session, while the analytical and statistical components of the doctorate studies compel me to find the evidence in what I bring through. Given my mindset set, I require a lot from spirit in the way of proof, and they do strive to bring it through, for they want nothing more than to truly profoundly connect with you.
I am an everyday average person. No different than most people. I have had to reinvent myself several times as life's curveballs have come at me, and a sudden pivot was necessary to continue my journey. I have had tremendous losses, disappointments, and serious illnesses, so I am well-versed in life's obstacles and prepared to help others navigate their own stormy waters. I have also been blessed with great love and exceptional individuals throughout my life who are rays of light in this world. Those light-filled rays of love surround us all, and although they may be hard to see, they endeavor to find us.
We inevitably end up seeing the light and feeling the love.
